The Font Resource Book showcases Marian Bantjes’ 2010 TED talk, Intricate Beauty by Design. Bantjes is well known for a recognis- able personal signature that shines through all her work. A concept that was developed throughout this book was what inspired the de- signer, Lauren: hand-lettering. In addition to hand-lettering, materials that are not normally written on were hand-lettered. Bantjes—also well-known for her unique lettering—was a source of inspiration in the creative process of creating hand-lettered words.
